This weekend we step into new territory.
With over 25 college and university campuses in the area--and no Chi Alpha--Baltimore is one of the target urban areas here in the northeast. Campuses like Johns Hopkins (pictured above) are sprinkled around the Baltimore Beltway and are filled with students who dream of a hopeful tomorrow. We want to be there.
On Saturday I will be conducting a Reach the University seminar for churches in the Baltimore area. We've got around 20 leaders and church members joining us to catch the vision in God's heart and learn how to take the next important steps in establishing campus ministry. Please pray for me/us as we venture into this new territory. I dream of the day when we can say, "Remember when there used to be no Chi Alpha groups around here?" "Yeah, it's hard to imagine."
