Gumby: Flexible, stretchy and always smiling.
That's how one woman described the old claymation character to me recently. I'm thinking about sharing that with the Jamaica team just before we leave for our ministry trip this week to remind us to remain flexible during our trip. It's good to keep it in front of us. My only concern...do they actually remember Gumby?
Speaking of remember...I found the old theme song to the Gumby show.
Gumby! He was once a little green slab of clay. Gumby! You should see what Gumby can do today. Gumby! He can walk into any book, with his pony pal Pokey, too. If you've got a heart then Gumby's a part of you.

this is deep. I appreciate gumby however when it comes to tv I am usually an exception. I might try the mom from the Incredibles, aka Elastigirl, who is so 'incredibly' stretchy and flexible that nothing can bend her out of shape.
But there is something still about the retro thing. Just a little bit out there...not too current. ya know?
