There are 2 kinds of people in this world: those who walk up an escalator and those who stand. I, myself, am a walker. I am all about making up time. I am not about standing behind someone's...er...behind. It's really a simple concept for me. I save time. I walk as the machine is moving and I feel the wind at my back! Just imagine walking on the people mover at the airport--you save so much time that you can stop for coffee near the gate.
I thought I'd try to enjoy the ride recently when I had a day off. I figured that I didn't need to be anywhere on a schedule so I would try to live like the other side. I did okay for a few feet and then my feet started to move. I was like a racehorse at the gate...hold me back!

Standers annoy me sooooo much! I always have to walk unless I have a good book then sometimes it's ok especially since my apartment was by a T stop with like three loooooong escalators.
Welcome to intro of marriage 101! I'm a stander while Eric is a walker or should I say RUNNER! :-)
Number one thing I learned during my engagement is the things that I love the most about my fiance are the very things that are going to annoy me the most. It's sooo true! I have a love/hate relationship with his ability to keep me moving and light a fire under my...er behind. ;-) With my man my visionary personality can get anything done! However, I also found that I naturally love to stand back and take in the entire scene in order to have those dreams and visions. I reflect while he's running.... I love how God makes us all so incredibly different. Otherwise, the journey would be extremely boring. It's all about balance and it sounds like you and Terry are going to be just that together! :-P
So, Happy Standing! Enjoy the scenery :O)
look how popular you've become.
I'm a stander but I think we established that since I am what inspired this post.
