The lazy, hazy days of summer.
People often ask what XA missionaries do during the summer months. Some people figure that since school is not in session we have 3 months with nothing to do. Well...not so much! :)
It's true that my schedule is a bit lighter during the summer--mostly regarding my travel schedule. I am not visiting as many campuses and many of our task teams don't meet across the U.S. But I use this time for a few important things:
1. Meeting with and preparing the leaders for Student Led groups
2. Meeting with new XA missionaries
3. Projects (creating resources, promotion) that tend to get pushed back during the busy travel season
4. Study and prep for the fall
5. Big picture strategy sessions
I love the change in routine. It keep me fresh in my thinking. The lazy, hazy days of summer are not so lazy. :)

It's hot outside.
I do have to say though that summer is slower than fall.
That's why I saty inside all day.
