Okay, this is really interesting. I just heard that every request for info that we make on Google is recorded and kept. So, whatever you have looked up, that info will remain available for someone to discover if they have access (like the police), even if you try to delete it. Case in point: a woman was murdered and the police eventually charged her husband because they found that he had looked on Google for things about "gunshots to the right side of the chest" and whether life insurance was still available for the beneficiary of someone who was murdered (got this story from the Today show earlier, well, today). Wow. I am thrilled that we are able to use technology for the good of our society but it is a little weird that our lives leave a pretty significant paper trail.

Things That Make You Go Hmmm...
