Saw the coolest thing today...
I was getting my hair cut and I saw two girls who were also getting their hair cut. The girls were beautiful Latina girls who were about 8 & 5 and they had long, beautiful hair. Each was cutting off 10 inches of her hair to donate it to children who lost their hair to disease. I watched the first little girl (the 8 year old) just before the lady cut her hair--she had a look of trepidation on her face. But just after the cut I looked at her face again. A little smile appeared. Maybe she knew how great what she just did really was.
